1 Large White Onion
3-5 Cloves of Garlic, minced

2-4 Red Bird’s Eye Chillies
1 TBL Sesame Oil
300ML Beef Stock
3 TBL Dark Soy Sauce
2 TBL Sriracha Sauce
TBL Toasted Sesame Seeds
1-2 TBL Honey
Salt and Pepper
Options to Serve: Cucumber, Toasted Sesame Seeds – Red pepper also works great, think anything crunchy that will cut through the heat of the chillies.
Instructions:
1..Begin by finely chopping the onion and red bird’s eye chillies.
2. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft and translucent. Add the minced garlic, minced ginger, and chopped chillies to the pan and cook for another minute, stirring constantly.
4. Add the minced beef to the pan and cook until browned and fully cooked through. In a small bowl, mix together the beef stock, dark soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour this mixture into the pan with the beef and stir well to combine.
5. Let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and become sticky.
6. While the beef mixture is simmering, prepare your toppings of choice.
7. Once the sweet and sticky beef is ready, serve it over a bed of rice and top with the sliced cucumber and toasted sesame seeds.
